Dear Friends and Family,
My name is Charles H. Lee, and I am writing to share what God has
been doing in my life over the past year.
For the last several years, I have not been actively supporting our church's partnership with Harvest because I was heavily focused on running my business and caring for my mother and father on weekends. Both of my parents passed away within the last year, and through this difficult season God has been working in my heart in new ways. My involvement with Harvest began earlier this year through the 301 Bible Study course. Through that study, God has led me to take a step of faith and join a short-term mission trip to Indonesia.
Soon I will be traveling to the other side of the world, and I admit that I am nervous about the long travel schedule and how my business will operate while I am away. At the same time, I sense the Lord reassuring me to trust Him and follow His leading. I do not know what the outcome of this mission trip will be, but I pray that God will use me to encourage and support our mission team and the people of Indonesia as we share the good news of Jesus Christ.
My desire is to serve alongside the mission team in unity, working together to advance God's Kingdom and demonstrate Christ's love to those we meet. I pray that this experience will strengthen my faith, help me grow in obedience to God's calling, and allow me to be a blessing to others. I would like to ask you to consider partnering with me through prayer and financial support. The costs of this trip include vaccinations, airfare, and other in-country expenses. More importantly, I ask for your prayers for our health, safety, and spiritual effectiveness throughout the trip.
Please pray that:
- God will prepare our hearts and guide our team.
- We will remain healthy and safe during our travels and ministry.
- God will open doors for meaningful relationships and opportunities to share the Gospel.
- Our team will work together in unity and love.
- We will return home safely with stories of God's faithfulness and testimonies that encourage others.
- Everything we do will glorify God, honor Christ, and strengthen His church.
