I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to share an update regarding how God has been working in my life over the past year, as well as to share an upcoming opportunity to serve His Kingdom.
This summer, I have committed to joining a short-term missions team from Harvest Church traveling to Ecuador. Our church has established a deeply intentional relationship with ministries in South America, and our team will be working directly alongside long-term leaders on the ground. These partners include Pastor Gonzalo Quimbuilco, who serves communities in the Amazon through the Joshua Foundation, and Pastor Samuel at the Santiago Church in Quito.
The primary purpose of our trip is to provide community outreach, assist with local children's initiatives, and offer vital encouragement to these long-term workers. Our partners in Ecuador have frequently shared that the presence of short-term teams brings essential spiritual refreshment, empowering them to sustain their ministries throughout the rest of the year.
I am reaching out to you specifically because you have played a significant role in my personal and spiritual journey. Our church leadership strongly emphasizes that short-term missions are not individual endeavors; rather, they require a faithful community to send us out in unity. While I am fully prepared to ensure the material and logistical costs of this trip are met, I am writing to invite you to officially partner with me in this ministry endeavor.
