Friends and Family,
It feels like 2026 has started off so quick that half the year has passed in the blink of an eye! And with the beginning of summer, its time for our summer missions team to go and see what God is doing. This year, we are excited to be sending two teams to two countries! One team led by our Pastor DL and Pastor Michelle, and another team that I would have the privlege of leading to Ecuador.
This year, our goal continues to be to partner with Santiago Church in Quito (the captial city) to strengthen, train, and raise up church leaders in the Amazon area. We will be with familiar faces of established and up and coming church leaders in the Amazon villages led by our missionary Gonzalo Quimbiulco. Our team, along with the team from Santiago Church, will be visiting various villages in the Amazon area including one new village.
Our team will be going to Ecuador from August 2nd through August 8th.
The reason why you are reading this letter is to first and foremost to pray for our team.
Please pray for:
For the people of the Amazonian churches in Ecuador to grow spiritually and to live out their faith more boldly.
For political and social stability in Ecuador (especially in the Amazonian areas).
To encourage and be supportive of our missionary Pastor Gonzalo and his family.
